California All for a Tougher Escorts Law
Sen. Mark Christensen is so astute about it. He is out to make a law that would regulate the escort services in his area of responsibility and elsewhere. It would mean long and continued hearings. But he’s all for it. He would gladly hop on from one committee to another just to devise the law that he very much want to pass.
The senator’s bill is out to put tougher restrictions on all adult and sexually oriented stores and businesses. He wants to put more decency into the society by increasing their taxes, or so it seems. However, he wants to perfect his law. So he is asking for inputs from different sectors in order to make the right bill.
Also part of his bill is to put a quarter of a mile buffer between adult-entertainment businesses and churches, day cares, schools, and playgrounds. He basically wants an all-adult zone and a family friendly zone. It won’t really affect the escorts and the services they provide, as these businesses have client bases that are not from the off-limits area.
It’s a strong move and hopefully, it would make things better for the benefit of everybody. With everyone happy, business would flourish more on the escorts industry side. When successful, the move will surely be copied by other nations and jurisdictions.
